The Englishman has caught the eye of the Premier League’s elite with some good performances this season, playing 45 times for The Gunners in all competitions, scoring six times.
He helped Arsenal win the FA Cup, and qualify for the Europa League next season, in a fairly frustrating campaign for the North London club, one in which manager Arsene Wenger’s future was the focal point throughout.
It was reported a few months ago that The Gunners would like a fee in the region of £35 million for the 23-year-old, with Liverpool saying they hope they will not be put off by this factor.
Chamberlain is understood to be infuriated by the lack of progress in his impending contract talks with the club.
