Arsenal interested in signing French trio
Arsene Wenger is looking at a trio of French attackers as he prepares to replace some possible big name departures, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Wenger is apparently preparing deals for Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Lemar, three players who, if they joined, would have Arsenal fans jumping for joy.
Lacazette has scored 91 goals in his past three seasons for Lyon and has been of interest to the Gunners for a number of years. Wenger had a bid of £30 million turned down in the summer, with Lyon wanting £60 million this time round.
Arsenal are also monitoring the situations of Monaco duo Mbappe and Lemar, however, the French champions are reluctant to sell unless they receive massive bids.
With five major European clubs interested in Alexis Sanchez, it is looking less likely the Chile international will sign a new contract, whilst Mesut Ozil, Lucas Perez and Oliver Giroud all attracting interest too.
Wenger does have a reasonable budget this summer, but it looks like any big name signings would be followed by some big name departures.
