# Lyon name their price for Arsenal target Lacazette

Arsenal’s interest in Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette has been well documented for years now, but this summer looks to present their best ever chance of signing him.

The France international is all but set to leave his club if or when the opportunity arises in the coming months, and Arsenal appear to be front-runners in the race to sign him.

It was initially expected that Atletico Madrid would land Lacazette, but after their transfer embargo was confirmed, the possibility of a move to play under Diego Simeone was ruled out for the Frenchman.

However, despite all things pointing towards a move to Arsenal this summer, Lacazette won’t come cheaply.

It’s claimed by the [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/12/arsenal-told-alexandre-lacazette-will-cost-60m/) that Lyon will demand a huge deal worth around £60m for the signature of Lacazette – a move that would smash Arsenal’s current transfer record.

The initial fee would be worth £48.7m, but it’s likely that the add-ons will work up to a sum of £10.6m.
