Arsenal are set to stand firm on their prized asset Alexis Sanchez this summer with two prime, potential suitors looming.
A report from the Mirror claims that Manchester City are willing to offer £50 million for the Chilean, a fee that would take Bayern Munich out of the race.
City are undergoing an overhaul this summer under Pep Guardiola, as he prepares his squad to challenge on all fronts next term.

Sanchez has just one year left on his current £130,000 per week deal at the Emirates and City would reportedly offer him a huge contract worth £280,000 per week – just over double what he currently earns.
The Mirror state that Arsenal are determined not to let their top-scorer leave to a league rival and are poised to ‘block’ any transfer to Manchester City.
The North-London outfit have reportedly tabled a new contract worth up to £270,000 per week for the 28-year-old.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has even claimed that the club would prefer to let Alexis run down his deal at the club and leave on a free transfer next summer.
