According to Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha, as quoted by the Express, Arsenal have shown their desire to sign Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.
The Algerian is said to be keen to leave the Liga NOS side this summer, with a host of potential suitors queuing up for his signature.
Brahimi had a fairly good season at Porto, scoring seven and assisting another four goals across all competitions in Portugal. The 27-year-old would bring an exciting profile to the Emirates, as he has the capability to play as a left winger and through the centre as a number ten.

However, a probable stumbling block to sign the playmaker has arised recently, Porto’s £35million asking price. The Express’ report states that the club insist that the fee is met ‘in full’, as 50% is set to go to Brahimi’s representatives.
The Portuguese outfit are understood to have rejected numerous offers from looming clubs, as they attempt to hold out for their lucrative price-tag.
