# Arsenal set to move in on Sunderland duo

Arsenal are reportedly keen on making a double move to sign Sunderland duo Joel Asoro and Benjamin Mbunga-Kimpioka this summer.

According to a recent report from the [Sunderland Echo](https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/arsenal-make-5m-double-swoop-for-sunderland-wonderkids-1-8588738), the Black Cats are expected to offload the promising pair and will look to cash in on them this summer, with Arsenal lurking.

It’s stated in the report that the Gunners are readying a £5m bid to lure both of the youngsters away from the Stadium of Light but given their potential – Asoro’s in particular – Sunderland may very well demand more.

Mbunga-Kimpioka and Asoro are two players somewhat similar in the way in which they play. Both are capable of playing on either the right or left wing, and both are also usable in a central role.

The report interestingly states that Arsenal are front-runners to sign Asoro, who made his first-team debut this season at the lowly age of 18.
