Alexis Sanchez is set to put his contract talks with Arsenal aside and leave them to his agent as he looks to focus on the Confederations Cup with Chile, as per a report from the Evening Standard.
That is what my representative is looking at. He knows and will sit with the club and work out what is best for me.
Speculation surrounding the 28-year-old attacker has been mounting over the course of the last six months and contract negotiations with the Gunners appear to be underway. However, it looks as though the club will have to negotiate with Sanchez’s agent, as opposed to the man himself.

The Chilean forward is sure to be a key player for his country in this year’s tournament and has understandably turned his full attention towards helping them succeed.
However, with a £300,000 per week offer on the table from Arsenal – a wage that would make him the club’s highest paid player ever – he will be leaving his representative to do his talking for him.
I am now focused on the cup.
Sanchez will look to help Chile to a successful Confederations Cup campaign.
