Arsenal striker hints at summer exit

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has hinted he could leave the club this summer in the search of regular first-team football.

Speaking at the French training camp, as reported by Matt Spiro, Giroud claims he will not settle for as little game time again next season.

Giroud was used sparingly throughout the season with Arsene Wenger often preferring to use Alexis Sanchez in a central role over the Frenchman.

The striker started just 11 games in the Premier League for Arsenal and with the World Cup just around the corner, Giroud may have one eye on consolidating his place within the squad.

Naturally, these quotes can be taken in one or ways, Giroud could be determined to win back his regular place in the Arsenal starting XI.

With Sanchez’s future remaining unclear, that could be an option for the French striker, who has a big decision to make on his future in a World Cup year.
