# Arsenal to fend off PSG’s interest in bid to keep Sanchez

Arsenal’s intentions to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez have been well documented for some time now and according to [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en/news/8/main/2017/06/05/36123342/arsenal-tell-psg-alexis-sanchez-is-going-nowhere?ICID=HP_BN_1), they have reaffirmed this to PSG.

It’s claimed that the French giants are holding a firm interest in the Chilean international and are keen to land him this summer, but it looks as though their wishes have been rebuffed by the Gunners.

Sanchez’s contract negotiations at the Emirates don’t appear to be nearing a positive conclusion any time soon, but that’s not stopping them from showing intent. It’s clear that the attacker is valued highly by the chiefs at the club and that they are adamant he will be an Arsenal player come the end of the window.

Bayern Munich and Manchester City have also been linked in recent times, but Arsene Wenger will indeed be hoping that he has Sanchez at his disposal when the season begins in August.
