According to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, as reported by the Metro, Barcelona’s Arda Turan has agreed to join Arsenal.
However, the Catalan giants are holding out for a £26 million fee.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was handed a contract extension last week and is set for an overhaul of his squad in North London, with Turan one of his first targets. The Turkish midfielder has been something of a disappointment at the Nou Camp since he signed for Barça in 2015.

Turan’s recent campaign was disrupted through injury but he still managed 30 appearances across all competitions, netting a quite impressive 13 goals.
The 30-year-old is a flexible player position-wise but has been frustrated with some of the roles he’s been forced to play at Barça. He’s naturally a left-sided midfielder but possesses the ability to play on the other wing and as a number ten.
For now, it’s reported that Wenger is seeking to reduce the asking price quoted by Barcelona, which is supposedly possible as this year’s Copa Del Rey winners are seeking to sell as soon as possible.
