Arsene Wenger has hinted that Arsenal could make a summer move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
As reported by the Mirror, Wenger refused to rule out a move for the Algerian international, who wants to leave the Foxes this summer.
During an interview with beIN Sports, Wenger hinted that a move could be on the cards as the Gunners seek reinforcement this summer.
“We have not made a bid, but personally, I like the player, yes. I think he made a huge impact when they won the championship.
“Have we made a bid for him? No. Not yet. No, we have not.
“When I say ‘not yet’ it means it could happen. It might not happen.”
After reaching the heights of winning the Premier League, Leicester and Mahrez have struggled during the last campaign.
Mahrez was linked with a move to the Emirates last summer, but he remained with the Foxes to enjoy their first Champions League campaign.
The winger has been linked with a move to Tottenham and Chelsea already this summer, but the Gunners appear to be the ones leading the charge for the 26-year-old.
