Wenger agrees new two-year deal with Arsenal

Arsene Wenger appears to be staying at Arsenal with the Mirror claiming the French boss has agreed a new two-year deal at the club.

The future of Wenger has been unclear throughout the season with it looking likely that he could leave the club at the end of the campaign.

The report suggests that an official announcement on his future will be made on Wednesday, with a backroom reshuffle likely to happen as part of the new deal.

Wenger met with the Arsenal board today to discuss a new deal as well as summer transfer plans following their 2-1 win over Chelsea to lift the FA Cup on Saturday.

Keeping both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who’s contracts run out at the end of next season are likely to be top of his and the club’s priorities this summer.

The Gunners look like they’re going to have to break their current wage structure to keep both of the players.
