Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City are all set to battle it out for the signature of Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe, according to a talkSPORT report.
Sidibe joined Monaco last summer from Lille and was one of the club’s shining stars this season as they beat Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title.
Bernardo Silva is one player to have already left Monaco to join Manchester City in a £43 million move last week and right-back Benjamin Mendy could soon follow for a similar fee.
Sidibe may well be another player to walk out the door at Monaco this summer with Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham all interested in the player.
All three Premier League clubs are reported to have notified Monaco about their interest in the defender, with the Ligue 1 champions now weighing up their options on whether to sell him on.
Last summer it was reported that Sidibe rejected a move to Arsenal in favour of joining Monaco, following concerns about the amount of playing time that he would get at the Emirates. However, this doesn’t seem to have dampened the Gunners hopes of vying for his signature ahead of next season.
