Arsenal striker Lucas Perez found first team opportunities hard to come by in his maiden season in English football, and this has prompted reported interest from La Liga side Sevilla.
According to a report from Spanish news source AS, as covered by talkSPORT today, Perez is a target for Sevilla ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Perez has been starved of consistent game time for the Gunners since his arrival last summer and has grown understandably frustrated at the lack of chances to impress.

Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud are clearly ahead of him in the pecking order at the club regarding strikers, while Alexis Sanchez has also been preferred to the Spaniard in a central role.
Signed from Deportivo last summer for a fee of £17m, Perez hasn’t quite had the impact on proceedings that Arsene Wenger would have hoped for when recruiting him, and it looks as though he’s set to seek pastures new this summer.
