# Arsenal Player Ratings: Everton (H)

Arsenal capped a mixed season in style this afternoon, completing a 3-1 victory over a resilient Everton side.

The Gunners secured a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League, ensuring automatic qualification to the Europa League group stages ahead of the coming campaign. However, given that Liverpool and Manchester City convincingly won their respective fixtures, it means that Arsenal will not be competing in the Champions League next season.

The hosts got off to the best possible start after eight minutes, as Hector Bellerin netted the opener. However, Laurent Koscielny was given his marching orders just seven minutes later, making things tricky for Arsene Wenger’s men.

This did not stop Alexis Sanchez from doubling Arsenal’s lead though, helping them into the break two up.

Romelu Lukaku pulled one back from the spot for Everton before the hour mark, but a late goal from Aaron Ramsey sealed the deal for the Gunners as they came away with a 3-1 win.

Here are our match ratings.
