Francis Coquelin appears to have fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, and it looks as though Valencia are monitoring him ahead of a potential summer move.
The Frenchman is playing as a backup to the duo of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey, with Wenger seemingly sticking to this three-at-the-back formation, so he could seek a move away from the Emirates to pursue first-team football.

One of these potential destinations may be out in La Liga with Valencia, as Diario AS claim that Marcelino is pondering a move to bring the tough tackling Frenchman over to Spain.
However, while Coquelin is a name under consideration for the new Valencia boss, signing him is not his priority when it comes to bolstering his already-strong midfield options.
The report claims that Valencia are focusing more on signing Ignacio Camacho from Malaga, but will target Coquelin if they cannot land their first choice target this summer.
