Arsenal will go head-to-head with London rivals Tottenham and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool for Manuel Lanzini this summer, according to the Mirror.
The 24-year-old has scored eight goals in the Premier League for West Ham this season and has impressed since Dimitri Payet left the club.
Lanzini joined the club permanently over the summer from United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira, but the report suggests that Liverpool did make contact over the possibility of sneaking in before the Hammers made the deal permanent.
Klopp’s side reportedly see Lanzini as a possible contender to replace Philippe Coutinho should he leave the club in the near future.
The report goes on to suggest that the Hammers are ready to offer him a new deal to remain at the London Stadium, but would struggle to compete with the offers of above £100,000 a week that the aforementioned trio could offer him.
