Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to pay in the region of £20 million in order to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.
As reported by Goal, Liverpool are thought to be very interested in signing the player, who’s contract expires at the end of next season at Arsenal.
The 23-year-old is yet to commit to a new deal at the Emirates and is likely to have plenty of suitors as he enters the final year of his current deal with Arsenal.
The Reds are impressed with Oxlade-Chamberlain’s ability to cover various positions, having played out wide and in a more central, deeper role for Arsenal this season.
With Champions League football looking likely for Liverpol, Klopp has set out to strengthen his squad this summer.
They have recently been linked with a move for Mohamed Salah, but the report from Goal suggests that Chamberlain is seen as a more realistic option for the Reds.
