Ross Barkley projects to be one of the most sought-after players of the summer.
The Everton playmaker is in a situation that Arsenal fans are all too familiar with. As his contract is set to expire at the end of next season, Barkley is in a stand-off with Everton over whether or not he’ll sign a new deal.
Barkley knows that there’s a lucrative summer move on the table for him if he shuns a new deal at Goodison, but he’d be turning his back on the club that gave him the platform to become the player he is.
Arsenal for once want to be the buyer not the seller in this situation and are readying a summer move for Barkley, but face competition from Tottenham for his signature say the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old knows that Everton will look to cash-in on him if he continues to turn down signing a new contract.
Chelsea and Manchester City are both also in the running to sign the £35m-rated England international.
