# Bayern hold talks with Sanchez’s agent

Bayern Munich appear to have taken the lead in the chase to sign Alexis Sanchez this summer, with the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenals-alexis-sanchez-fight-takes-10346269) reporting that they have held talks with the Arsenal man’s agent.

Sanchez’s future at the Emirates has come under some serious scrutiny over the course of the last six months and it’s looking likely that he’ll push for a move in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Chilean international is a key player for Arsenal and is undoubtedly the best attacking player at the club, so it’d be a crushing blow to Arsene Wenger if he is to seek pastures new away from North London.

Gunners boss Wenger has insisted that he does not want to let Sanchez join a fellow Premier League club, perhaps putting Bayern and other potential suitors on red alert.

Sanchez is keen to win trophies and it’s almost certain that he’d do so at Bayern, who have dominated the Bundesliga for some time now.
