# Arsenal identify Corchia as summer target

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a summer move to sign Lille right-back Sebastien Corchia.

According to an exclusive report from [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2017/05/04/35202732/arsenal-eye-summer-swoop-for-frances-corchia-amid-bellerin?ICID=HP_BN_2), the Gunners are keen to add quality to their full-back options this summer and have identified the Frenchman as a plausible target.

The 26-year-old has been in good form for Lille out in Ligue 1 throughout the course of this season and interest from bigger clubs across the continent should come as no surprise because of this.

Speculation surrounding the future of Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin has been mounting over the last few months and a summer exit would almost certainly see a replacement brought in.

Goal claim that Corchia is interested in playing European football next season and is an ambitious character, so a destination and club as big as Arsenal would be attractive.

The Gunners are set to offload backup right-backs Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy this summer too.
