Arsenal have reportedly instructed their scouts to watch Lech Poznan youngster Dawid Kownacki after some impressive displays from the striker.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Gunners are interested in seeing the young forward’s qualities as speculation builds surrounding his future out in Poland.
Kownacki has notched 11 goals in his breakthrough season so far and has helped Lech Poznan in their pursuit of yet another Polish top flight honour.
He has been likened to his compatriot Robert Lewandowski, who plies his trade out in Germany with Bayern Munich, for his clinical nature and Polish roots.
However, if Arsenal do like what they see and are keen to pursue a move for the Poland Under-21 international, they may be faced with some fellow Premier League competition.
The report states that Chelsea have also sent spies to oversee Kownacki’s progress, while Leicester City are also claimed to have taken an interest in him.
