# Arsenal line up Rosen for director of football

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a move to bring Hoffenheim’s director of football Alexander Rosen to the club this summer.

According to a report from the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-place-hoffenheims-alexander-rosen-10336212), the Gunners are stepping up their search to bring in a director and have identified that Bundesliga club’s director as a man that will come under serious consideration.

Speculation surrounding manager Arsene Wenger’s future has been incredibly intense this season and reports strongly suggest that the Gunners’ hierarchy are contemplating giving him more support and guidance from the top, with a director of football looking set to be targeted.

Rosen has done a good job at Hoffenheim, helping them to an impressive campaign under Julian Nagelsmann and managing their funds well, recruiting with intelligence and efficiency.

The report states that the Gunners are still considering bringing Marc Overmars in as the director of football, but will need to lure him away from Ajax to do so.
