After Liverpool’s defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend and the Manchester Derby ending in a stalemate last night, Arsenal have been gifted an opportunity to put themselves right back in the frame for a Top 4 finish.
The Gunners sit five points back on Manchester City in fourth and six back of third-placed Liverpool with two games in hand on the Reds and one on City and a win next time out sees them close the gap on fifth-placed Manchester United to just one point.
Who stands in their way? North London rivals Tottenham who a have won their last seven home games and are in hot pursuit of Chelsea at the top of the table.
In what many are calling a ‘passing of the torch’ game where Spurs will cement themselves as the dominant force in north London, Arsenal need to show the resilience they put on display at Wembley when they beat Manchester City.
