Premier League newcomers Brighton are interested in a loan deal for Arsenal winger Joel Campbell this summer.
According to Futbol Centro America, Brighton are looking to swoop in and sign him on a loan deal for next season.
Campbell is currently on a season-long loan at Sporting Lisbon – with a €10m option for the Portuguese club to sign him when it expires.
However, the report claims that Sporting are not looking to exercise that option, which has gifted Brighton the opportunity to sneak in and make their move.
Campbell has failed to catch the eye at Sporting this season. The winger has started ten games in all competitions, with four goals and three assists, with 11 substitute appearances.
Although, this has not put Brighton off making their move. They secured their place in the Premier League last week and are looking to bolster their squad to make sure they can cope with the step up.
