Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson is set to be high in demand when the summer transfer window opens.
According to a report from the Mirror, the powerful defender will be allowed to leave the club in the coming months, with manager Arsene Wenger failing to see a future for him at the Emirates.
However, if he is forced out of the club this summer, he won’t be short of potential suitors and Championship duo Brighton and Newcastle are both touted with interest.
The Seagulls have secured their place in next season’s Premier League and could be keen to take Jenkinson off Arsenal’s hands as they look to bolster their squad with more Premier League experience.
However, Newcastle are also set to come back up to the top flight and may prove to be an attractive proposition to Jenkinson.
The right-back hasn’t lived up to expectations at Arsenal and has been hindered by injuries.
