Athletic Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde has responded to questions over his future with the club and was coy when discussing the possibility of a move to Arsenal.
In recent times, the Spanish tactician has been linked with the Arsenal job, with Arsene Wenger’s position at the club coming under more and more scrutiny as the days have gone by.
However, Valverde has been focusing on his job with Bilbao and will be hoping to push his men on to a positive end to the season. Los Leones are currently sat in eighth place on the La Liga table and will be hoping to get back to where they belong up in the top six.

Valverde, as quoted by the Daily Mail, admitted that managing abroad is something that has “enriched” him as a coach and failed to rule out a move away from the San Mames Stadium this summer, with Arsenal lurking.
I’ve already coached abroad and for me it was an enriching experience. It was extraordinary. I do not know what is going to happen in the future but it’s not a personal target to go to one place or another.
We will see if I go [to the Premier League] now, soon or never. We’ll see what happens in the future.
