Arsenal have always had a reputation for scouting far and wide for the next big talents, and it looks as though they’re considering following that trend by bringing another bright prospect to the Emirates.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Gunners are strongly looking into the possibility of signing Chilean youngster Marcelo Allende on a permanent deal.
The 18-year-old has already been at Arsenal to have trials and it looks as though he’s been impressing the coaching staff at the club, leading to serious consideration over a permanent move for the youngster.
Allende is now eligible to sign for the Gunners after turning 18, with FIFA rules restricting him from joining up with the academy officially until his birthday this week.
The promising attacker is currently plying his trade in his homeland with Deportes Santa Cruz but looks set for bigger and better things.
Allende can play out wide or behind the striker.
