Arsenal came away with a point in what was a hard-fought encounter with in-form Manchester City this afternoon.
It was a match that promised great entertainment throughout and it certainly didn’t disappoint, with both sides showing fight in times during the match to push on and take the three points.
However, it was a nightmare start for the Gunners as Leroy Sane tucked away after rounding David Ospina in the Arsenal goal.
The deficit was reduced five minutes before the interval though as Theo Walcott netted the equaliser, and it looked as though Arsenal would head into the break on level terms. Sergio Aguero had different ideas though, as he fired beyond Ospina just minutes after to totally kill the momentum for Arsene Wenger’s men.
This didn’t stop the hosts from coming out and finding their feet again, with Shkodran Mustafi scoring Arsenal’s second in the 53rd minute, levelling things at 2-2 and securing a point for his side.
