# Campbell insists Arsenal need more players like Sanchez

Former Arsenal man Sol Campbell has insisted that the club should do everything that they can to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez, claiming that they need more players like him in the squad.

Campbell, as quoted by the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4355902/Arsenal-need-Sanchez-type-players-says-Campbell.html), spoke of just how good the Chilean forward is and how it should be a top priority of Arsenal’s to keep hold of him the summer.

> I think that for me they need more players like that on the pitch. Sanchez would easily play in our (Invincibles) side. He has everything. If you want to win things, you’ve got to have more guys like that.

Sanchez’s future at the Emirates has come under intense scrutiny in the last few months after a series of controversial events, such as reported tantrums and a lack of effort.

However, he’s still Arsenal’s top scorer and has easily been their best player this season, showing his quality consistently throughout the course of the campaign.

Discussions with Sanchez in regards to a new deal in North London are currently on hold, which has only fuelled the speculation surrounding whether or not he’ll be at Arsenal next season.
