Arsenal are reportedly ready to demand a massive fee of around £50 million for Alexis Sanchez in the summer if he fails to sign a new deal at the club.
The Chilean international’s future at the Emirates has come under some serious scrutiny in the last couple of months and it’s looking as though he wants to leave the club but if he is to get his wish, any potential suitors must cough up a huge sum for him, the Evening Standard reports.
Sanchez’s deal with the Gunners ends in the summer of 2018, so Arsenal may find themselves under pressure to sell and maximise their profit on their key man if they are forced to offload him when the summer transfer window opens in July.
Chelsea have emerged as one of the teams heavily interested in making a move for the enigmatic attacker, but the price tag is certainly one that could put many clubs off.
