Arsenal have put contract talks with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez on hold until the summer, manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The pair, who have been in contract negotiations since November, have less than 15 months left on their current deals and both have been linked with moves away from North-London.
Sanchez, who has been linked with moves to Juventus, PSG and Bayern Munich, has remained quiet over his long-term plans, while Mesut Ozil hinted at the start of the year that his future at the Emirates depends on whether Wenger remains at the club after the conclusion of the season.

When asked about the future’s of Sanchez in an interview with Bein Sport, the Frenchman said:
“We have decided to focus on the end of the season and talk about it in the summer, it is the same situation with Ozil because once you don’t find an agreement and it lasts, it is not good so it is better you get it out and sit down in the summer.”
Wenger had previously said that he would rather let both Sanchez and Ozil run down their contract and leave for a free next year than sell them both for a fee in the summer.
