Arsenal linked with move for Naby Keita
The Naby Keita stakes are certainly hotting up of late.
After Liverpool’s interest was revealed earlier this month, two more European giants have registered their interest in signing the Red Bull Leipzig midfielder.
According to German newspaper Sport Bild, Arsenal are considering a swoop for the talented box-to-box midfielder but face competition from Bundesliga leader Bayern Munich.
Keita and Leipzig are well on their way to capping off a brilliant season in the German top flight as they sit six points clear of Dortmund in second and poised to secure an automatic qualification place to next season’s Champions League.
The 22-year-old joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer and has established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the division and is valued at £26m.
Having contributed towards 12 goals in 22 appearances (four goals, eight assists), Keita has attracted the attention of several clubs and will be hot property in the summer.
