There’s a lot of controversy surrounding Arsenal Football Club at the moment, and a key talking point has been regarding who will be leaving the club in the summer.
Whether it be Arsene Wenger at the helm of the club or key players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil reportedly being unhappy at the Emirates, there has been an emphasis on what departures will take place at the end of the season.
However, regardless of who leaves the club, one position that almost certainly needs to be reinforced and bolstered is the left-back spot.
Although Nacho Monreal has been doing a decent enough job, he’s not quite of the calibre that the club and the fans should be striving for.
Along with this, backup left-back Kieran Gibbs hasn’t exactly lived up to his potential and like Monreal, isn’t quite at the level that a club like Arsenal should be accepting and settling for.
So, here are some left-backs that the Gunners should consider signing in the summer!
