After another humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich, Arsenal’s focus will now turn to their last chance at winning silverware as they host non-league Lincoln City in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday afternoon.
The Arsenal camp was hit with a sickness bug during the week with Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi both missing game time, so it remains to be seen if either of the duo are able to take part in the game.
Arsene Wenger’s team selection will also be interesting. He’s tended to shuffle the pack in cup games but with him being under so much pressure added to the fact that the next game after Lincoln is a week away, he could decide to go full strength.
