Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has reportedly turned down a massive new contract offer from the club.
According to an exclusive report from the Daily Mail this evening, the German is set to lead an exodus of players against the club this summer, with plenty of big names looking for a way out of Arsenal after growing impatient with the lack of ambition and ability to compete at the very highest level.
The report states that Ozil has rejected a whopping £200,000 per week contract offer at the club that would extend his stay beyond his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2018.
Ozil hasn’t been on top form this season and it’s been clear to see that there is some discontent for the German international, but it’s looking as though he will seek a way out of Arsenal come the end of the season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also understood by the Daily Mail to want a summer exit.
