# Oxlade-Chamberlain keen on Arsenal exit

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly keen on leaving the club in the summer transfer window.

According to an emerging report this evening from [ESPN](https://www.espnfc.com/story/3077866/alex-oxlade-chamberlain-wants-to-leave-arsenal-this-summer-sources) and their sources, the England international will look to push through a move away from the Emirates this summer as he looks towards new challenges.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has emerged as a key figure in Arsene Wenger’s plans this season and has shown his quality in a deeper, central midfield role.

However, with the 23-year-old reportedly now seeing Arsenal as unable to compete at the very highest level off the back of their recent Champions League embarrassments and the fiascoes surrounding key players at the club, he will seek a move elsewhere in order to rejuvenate his career.

The report states that even if under-fire Arsene Wenger does leave the club when the summer rolls around, Oxlade-Chamberlain and other first-team regulars will look to move on from the club.
