# Sanchez set to leave Arsenal in the summer

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly set to leave Arsenal this summer.

According to a report from the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenals-alexis-sanchez-set-summer-9970720) this evening, the Chilean international is looking set to head out of the door at the Emirates when the window opens after a series of rows with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

This then saw him left on the bench by Wenger in his side’s 3-1 defeat at Anfield against Liverpool on Saturday night.

The report claims that Sanchez has made it absolutely clear to Wenger and those at Arsenal that he will look to seek pastures new when the summer transfer window rolls around, despite having enjoyed an excellent season in their colours.

PSG are stated to be the team leading the chase to sign the versatile forward but Sanchez is sure to command a colossal transfer fee if he does part ways with Arsenal.

The report states that Wenger has grown irritated by Sanchez’s recent work rate, attitude in training and treatment of his teammates.
