The Gunners had chances as well, with Perez and Walcott both having a handful chances at the Sutton goal.

However, Perez opened the scoring in the 26th minute to break the deadlock. The Spaniard curled a shot into the bottom corner with the goalkeeper unsighted by a Walcott run across the box.
Sutton United forward Rory Deacon had an excellent chance in the second half. The 25-year-old saw shot from 25 yards out rattle the crossbar.
Sutton were throwing everything at Arsenal to get the equaliser in the second half, with captain James Collins heading narrowly over the bar.

Walcott extended Arsenal’s lead in the 55th minute of the game. The 27-year-old finished from close range to get his 100th goal for a Premier League club and seal Arsenal’s win.
This win means that Arsenal will play Danny Cowley’s Lincoln City in the quarter-final of the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium.
The game will be no means be an easy one for Arsene Wenger’s side. The National League leaders beat Ipswich and Premier League Burnley in previous rounds to come this far.
