Arsene Wenger has found himself in the headlines again after appearing to favour David Ospina for the club’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
According to the Daily Mail, Ospina will continue his run in the side in the club’s cup competitions.
This has spilt Arsenal fans’ opinions, who can see that the Gunners boss is being loyal to his second-choice keeper, but some also see it as the Frenchman not taking the competition seriously.
There is an obvious gulf in quality between Ospina and Petr Cech, not to mention the level of experience the former Chelsea keeper has in this competition, winning it back in 2012.
Despite the tough draw against Bayern Munich, the Champions League is all the club have left to play for this season, aside from the FA Cup.
The Gunners are now 10 points behind Chelsea in the title race and look unlikely to catch them.
It’s the fourth time in five seasons that Arsenal have met the German side, despite winning their group this time around.
So, is Wenger right to play Ospina? Vote in the poll below.
