Torino have rejected a £56m bid from Arsenal for striker Andrea Belotti, according to their sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.
He also added that the club have no intention of selling the Italian international.
The 23-year-old has made 21 appearances for club and country this season, scoring 17 goals.

When asked about a potential bid from the Gunners, he said:
We received and refused a £56m offer from Arsenal for Andrea Belotti – but it does not reflect the value of the player.Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we’ll see what happens. We intend to keep Belotti and president Urbano Cairo signed the important buy-out clause. I think he’s worth more than they have offered.
However, according to a report in the Evening Standard, the Gunners haven’t even approached Torino about Belotti, never mind make a bid.
It’s tough to see why Petrachi would talk about a bid if it wasn’t true, but it does seem odd for Arsenal to bid such a huge amount for a player in the January window.
Either way, somebody is lying or has their information wrong!
