Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at home to PSG means that Arsene Wenger will be hoping that the French side slip up in their final group game to give his side the chance to finish as group winners.
PSG went ahead in the 18th minute when Edinson Cavani’s sliding finish was enough to beat David Ospina.
However, Arsenal drew level right before half time as Olivier Giroud converted from the spot after Alexis Sanchez was fouled by Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The Gunners got some good fortune on the hour mark when the ball pinged around the box and eventually hit Marco Verratti and flew into the PSG net.
That wasn’t the end of the action though. PSG were in good form and got a deserved equaliser when Lucas’ header nicked off Alex Iwobi and past Ospina.
It could have been worse for Arsenal but Cavani missed some clear chances to grab a winner late on.
