Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez has been sent for a scan on a calf injury and there are fears that he may have torn the muscle.

The forward was training with Chile when the injury occurred and he was sent for further examinations of the muscle but the suspicion is that he has torn his calf.
If the suspicions turn out to be correct, it’ll be a major blow for Arsenal as Sanchez has been in great form this season.
He has been leading the line to great effect, scoring eight goals in all competitions.
Whilst Olivier Giroud’s return would lessen the blow, Sanchez would still be a major loss for the Gunners as they prepare for two massive games against Manchester United and PSG as they look to continue their good start both domestically and in Europe.
