Arsenal had to face promoted side Burnley in the 7th round of the Premier League. Beforehand it was expected that Arsenal would have an easy game against the side from North England, but it didn’t go as planned and Arsenal struggled against Burnley.
The first half was really dull and nothing really happened. Arsenal didn’t look concentrated and looked tired from the 2 games midweek.
The second half was also a bit boring. It wasn’t until the 80th minute that Arsenal started to press more and that Burnley started to struggle to play against Arsenal. The only goal of the game was scored in the dying seconds of the game. It was Koscielny that scored out of a corner and gave Arsenal the three points in Arsène Wenger’s anniversary, it was crucial that Arsenal won this game, considering that both Manchester City and Manchester United lost points earlier today.
