While Arsenal’s under-23s have struggled so far in the newly created Premier League 2, the under-18 side have started the season superbly.
Kwame Ampadu’s side are unbeaten so far this season and have won three out of their four games. A large reason for the under-18’s current success is star forward Eddie Nketiah.
Nketiah was superb for the under-18s last season, scoring 24 goals in 28 appearances. This season Nketiah has continued his superb scoring form into this year and has now scored four goals in three games for Ampadu’s side.

Such has been his consistent form that the 17-year-old has now signed his first pro contract with the club, as reported by Arsenal.com.
The young striker is one of the best prospects in the academy and has been earmarked for the future. Keep an eye out for him.
