Tomorrow is the first game in the Champions League knockout-phase, in which Arsenal face the champions of France, Paris Saint-Germain. Arsenal and the French side are the two favorites in the group to go through to the next round. This means that a win may be crucial for both sides to finish first in the group.
PSG had to sell some players in the summer, like Zlatan Ibrahimovic who went to Manchester United, and David Luiz who went to Chelsea. By losing these players, the French side lost some important players. They also fired their manager Laurent Blanc and brought in Unai Emery who had a lot of success in Europe with Sevilla.
The French side didn’t have the best of starts in the French league, winning 2, drawing one and losing one, by which they have the same amount of points as Arsenal have in the Premier League.
