Ratings: Arsenal’s Summer Arrivals

The transfer window is finished and Arsenal fans can look back to a quite successful window, in my opinion.

Of course, we didn’t sign a world class striker as most of us hoped we would, but we did strengthen in the positions that we had to.

We finally brought in a midfielder who can defend and contribute to the attacking style of play and we finally have a good partner for the French star Laurent Koscielny.

The club also strengthened with younger players. Rob Holding, who really impressed in the few games he played for Arsenal, and Takuma Asano, who had a good Olympics.

As mentioned, we strengthened in all the positions we had to, which makes it, in my opinion, a successful window.

I’ve gone back and rated each of the signings with a mark out of ten.

The ratings are based on experience, what the player may add to the team and the price the club paid to bring him to North London:
