The Premier League season began last weekend, and it wasn’t exactly a good start for Leicester City and Arsenal.
Leicester started the season against a depleted Hull City side. The Champions struggled to get into the game and quite honestly, looked well short of match sharpness. One bright spot in the game, was the performance of new signing Ahmed Musa – the striker looks like an ideal fit for the team.
Likewise, Arsenal began the season with a defeat, albeit a worse one. Liverpool shredded Arsenal at the back, although Arsenal did score three goals. Youngsters, Rob Holding and Calum Chambers looked overwhelmed at times, while going forward Arsenal missed Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.
This game is not only huge due to the standing of both clubs but also considering that both Riyad Mahrez and Jamie vary were both heavily linked to Arsenal. With all this considered, let’s have a look at a combined XI of both teams in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
