Arsenal suffered a devastating loss in their first game of the Premier League campaign at the weekend against Liverpool, what made it even worse for Arsenal fans, was Aaron Ramsey and Alex Iwobi coming off with apparent injuries.
Aaron Ramsey started the game in the number 10 role and looked short of match fitness – understandable for a man who’s had a short pre-season. Even Arsene wenger admitted to rushing the player back.
I pushed Ramsey in and he got injured. It’s a very difficult situation to sort out because the players come back late because of the Euros and, on top of that, you play them and they get injured.
Following the weekend, The Telegraph has reported that Ramsey will be out until after the first international break following a hamstring injury. Ramsey will now likely be out at least until Arsenal’s game against Southampton on September 10th. Ramsey will miss Arsenal’s games against Leicester City and Watford and Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
