Five things we learned: Arsenal 3-4 Liverpool

Arsenal fans across the world had been eagerly awaiting the return of the Premier League and indeed their team, however, they may well now be wishing that the game against Liverpool had not been played for another week, as their side crashed to a 4-3 loss.

The Gunners took a 1-0 lead through Walcott moments after he missed a penalty and looked as though they would go into the half-time break leading the tie.An unfortunate foul by Holding allowed Coutinho the opportunity to equalize with an inch perfect free kick.

From then on the game fell away from the Gunners as Liverpool took an eventual 4-1 lead. A late fight back saw the game close to 4-3, but it was too little, too late for the makeshift Arsenal team. The Gunners will need to learn quickly to avoid another embarrassment next week.

So what exactly have we learnt from Arsenal disappointing loss to Liverpool?
